AI dubbing
AI video dubbing, without a studio
AI dubbing means software does the work of a dubbing studio: it writes down what is said, translates it, and records the translation with a synthetic voice. Dubnivo does all three steps for you and clones the original speaker's voice.
How it works
- 01
Add your video
Upload a video file, or paste a public link from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X or Twitch.
- 02
Pick the languages
Choose the language spoken in the video and the language to dub into.
- 03
Download the dub
Dubnivo transcribes, translates and re-voices the video in the speaker's cloned voice, then gives you an MP4 to download.
Step 1: speech to text
A speech-recognition model listens to the audio and produces a timed transcript in the original language.
Step 2: translation
Each line of the transcript is translated into the language you chose.
Step 3: voice cloning and timing
A voice model learns the speaker's voice from the video and speaks the translation. Lines are placed at their original times and never overlap.
Step 4: a finished video
The new audio replaces the old track and you download a standard MP4.
Questions
What is AI dubbing?
AI dubbing is the automatic replacement of a video's speech with a translated voice track, produced by speech recognition, machine translation and speech synthesis instead of human voice actors.
Is AI dubbing as good as a human dub?
For clear, single-speaker videos such as tutorials, talks and social clips it is good enough to publish after a check. For films, songs or scenes with many overlapping speakers a human dub is still better.
How long can a video be?
